Dr Tim Kirchler graduated in Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1996, and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2003. Tim has worked in various locations in Australia and overseas, including with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) in Sri Lanka and Pakistan. He is experienced in all areas of general practice medicine, and his special interests include travel medicine, sexual health and HIV medicine, emotional and mental wellbeing, and child and adolescent health. Tim also has varied interests outside medicine including writing, filmmaking, vege gardening and playing in his rock band, Vivian's Hamster. Tim currently works Wednesdays and Fridays at Orange Aboriginal Medical Service. All patients are welcome - Aboriginal or not - and consultations are bulk billed.
